Menstrie 100 Years  Ago by Robert F. Anderson. 
The text of a lecture given  by the Rev. Anderson in 1909.  Robert Anderson was the Minister of  Blairlogie  United Free Church.

The Croft Andersons by “One of Themselves”.  Published in 1933.
This is the story of the Ceres-based family whence came the Rev.Robert F.Anderson.  Now out of print, but occasionally to be found in Scottish second-hand bookshops.

A Future for the   Past by Moultrie R.Kelsall and Stuart Harris, Edinburgh,1961. 
Moultrie Kelsall (see also People of Blairlogie section of this website) was for many years a formidable promoter of conservation and restoration of the indigenous architecture of Scotland.  The book contains among  its case histories of buildings saved, an account of Kirklea, his own house at  Blairlogie.
